Refunds

Copper Spoon does not offer refunds. Every book is a digital download: once the file is on your machine it cannot be given back, and there is no version of returning it that means anything.

This is why the free sample exists. Forty-eight recipes, two from every book, no email address required — download it here. It is the real pages from the real books, so you can see the writing, the photography and the layout before you spend anything.

What you are agreeing to at checkout

When you pay, you are asking for the download to begin immediately, and you accept that this means you give up any right to cancel that you would otherwise have for a digital purchase. That is what the no-refund policy rests on, and it is stated here and at checkout so that nobody meets it for the first time afterwards.

Things that are not refunds, and which we will always fix

A no-refund policy is about changing your mind. It is not a refusal to put right something that went wrong on our side. Write to contact@irondigitalmi.com and we will fix any of these:

The email never arrived, or arrived without your books in it.
A link expired before you used it. They last a week; you can also re-send them yourself, any number of times, from Lost your books?
The file will not open, is damaged, or is missing pages.
You were sent the wrong book.
You were charged twice for the same order.

A duplicate charge is refunded in full. That is not an exception to this policy — it is money for something you did not buy.

Before you buy

Read the free sample. Check the page count and the price on the book's own page. If you are unsure whether a book covers what you want, ask us at contact@irondigitalmi.com before you pay rather than after — we would much rather talk you out of the wrong book than sell it to you.
